March 20, 2010

Saturday, March 20, 2010!!
After last weeks break, we are now on track. Today, no one brought up any concerns. However, we were informed by Ken that the CRC is open during this coming Spring Break; THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INFO KEN! Ms. Kathy informed and warned us about the midterm, E-portfolio, to be turned in our next meeting, March 27, 2010. GUYS REMEMBER, IT IS TO BE TURNED IN EXACTLY AT 9:15 AM. We have no class on that day; however, we must show up to turn our midterms, E-Portfolio, in.
Aside from that, we got into groups today for the upcoming group lesson plan presentations. We will be having the first two presentations next April 10, 2010 and so forth.
KEEP NOTE: We will not be studying any more artist for the remainder of the class; however, each group, for the lesson plan presentations, will be sharing their artist that relates to there chapter study.
Here are the groups that we all agreed to be in and the chapters that each of our groups will be presenting, along with the required media to be used; note that the order goes in order in accordance to the date of the presentation:
Week 1:
1. April 10, 2010: Roque and Victorette, Chapter 15-Photography media.
2. April 10, 2010: Kai and Alvin, Chapter 16-Paper project media.
Week 2:
3. April 17, 2010: Joey and Patrick, Chapter 18-Mural media.
4. April 17, 2010: Nadia and Shawna, Chapter 19-Clay media.
Week 3:
5. April 24, 2010: Xiao and Winni, Chapter 13-Collage media.
6. April 24, 2010: Ken and Beck, Chapter 17-Culture media.
Week 4:
7. May 1, 2010: Angie and Connie, Chapter 30-Craft media.
8. May 1, 2010: Marvin and Jan Mikel, Chapter 12-Architecture media.

Throughout the class, chapter 8 and 9 teachbacks were presented. Great job Connie, Patrick, Xiao, Marvin, Nadia, Ken, and Jan Mikel for the wonderful PRESENTATION! Ya'll were outstanding; the powerpoints, activities, energizers, bellworks, handouts, organization and structure of presentation, the laughters, and etc.

We were all not able to create our own "Margo Vitarelli" art assignment; however, mad props to Ms. Kathy for she demonstrated the process of how we were to create our own Vitarelli artwork.

GUYS! Remember, WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY INCLASS FINAL EXAM! YAHOOO!!!!
